During this activity we had the opportunity to work with one of the largest groups we have worked so far. Namely, this rehabilitation-training process included a group of 46 mine victims and family members of mine victims in activities such as scuba diving, swimming and water therapy, and once again the participants made a significant improvement in their rehabilitation and social integration.

Youngest family members of mine victims, who had the chance to go through basic scuba diving training at pools earlier in this project, now for the first time, had the chance to dive with their parents or guardians into the azure waters of Adriatic and to experience firsthand the beauties of underwater life.

We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank the Bureau for Humanitarian Demining of the US government and the ITF-Slovenia, for the chance which they have given to the mine victims to raise their skills and health to a whole new level, and to present themselves in the best possible manner.
